Million Dollar Band is a Las Vegas-based live band delivering high-energy performances for corporate events, galas, weddings, and private celebrations. Known for powerhouse vocalists, tight musicianship, and a rhythm-forward sound, MDB keeps the energy alive from the first song to the last dance.

The band features two to four lead singers backed by a full professional ensemble, elevated by one of the most unique elements in live performance — a live vocal percussionist who adds texture, momentum, and rhythmic depth that gives every show a fresh, modern edge you won’t find anywhere else.

Lead vocalist Josh Smith is a featured Michael Bublé tribute artist at Legends in Concert, one of Las Vegas’s most prestigious live entertainment productions. His career spans regional theater, Dollywood — where he earned an IAPAA Performer of the Year nomination and worked directly with Dolly Parton — and performances aboard Carnival, Holland America, and Norwegian Cruise Lines. Now headlining in Las Vegas, he brings big band swagger, impeccable vocals, and effortless stage charm to every performance.

Lead vocalist Laura Wright brings one of the most decorated resumes on the Las Vegas strip. A semi-finalist on American Idol at just 16, she has since performed alongside Barry Manilow, Arnel Pineda of Journey, Heart, and Guns N’ Roses. Her credits include Bat Out of Hell: The Musical, Postmodern Jukebox, Raiding the Rock Vault, and the Terry Bradshaw Show. Both Josh and Laura were selected to perform in the choir for the Red Clay Strays at the 2026 Academy of Country Music Awards — where the band took home Group of the Year.

Vocal percussionist Jay R Beatbox brings a résumé as impressive as his sound. Featured in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s American Beatboxer documentary filmed in New York City, Jay R has opened for Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and more — bringing world-class beatbox artistry to every MDB performance.

Behind the keys is an Emmy Award-winning mix engineer whose production credits include the acclaimed Las Vegas productions Le Rêve and Baz: Star Crossed Love.
